ABOUT JAC

JAC Delhi Counselling 2019 - Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi will offer admission to candidates qualified in JEE Main through counselling of JAC Delhi 2019. Admissions will be offered to any of three colleges DTU, NSIT, IGDTUW. The admission authority will prepare a merit list of JAC Delhi 2019 on the basis of which admissions will be offered to candidates. JEE MAINS qualified candidates who wish to take admission through JAC Delhi admission have to register first for the JAC Delhi 2019 counselling process which has commenced from May 29. Admission authorities will conduct counselling of JAC Delhi 2019 in an online mode in four rounds. Candidates will be allotted seats into B.E/B.Tech courses in DTU, NSIT and IGDTUW on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main 2019 Paper I while admissions to B.Arch course in IGDTUW will be offered on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main 2019 Paper II. Candidates will be required to select maximum number of choices during registration for JAC Delhi counselling 2019. After choice filling, candidates will be allotted seats based on the rank secured in merit list, availability of seats and choices entered. Thereafter, candidates will have to report to allotted institute to confirm their admission. Admission authority will conduct spot round of counselling of JAC Delhi 2019 if seats in any course are vacant. JAC Delhi 2019 | Counselling Procedure

JAC Delhi 2019 registration process will be done on the official website jacdelhi.nic.in. Details like Nationality, JEE Main roll number, Class XII Results, Name, DOB etc will be required. To apply for the same, you can follow the steps given below.

Step 1– Pay the JAC 2019 Fee- The candidates eligible for JAC 2019 are supposed to pay the non-refundable counselling fee on the official website only. The Fee will be paid through online or offline modes both. Candidates can enter their roll numbers and full name to enter into the portal. Various payment methods like Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking can be used if paying the Counselling fee online. If paying offline, candidates are required to generate an e- challan. Also, candidates are liable to pay charges and taxes accordingly. The JAC Delhi 2019 fee is INR 1400/-.
Step 2– Register yourself with the required details- Once done with the payment process, candidates are required to fill the JAC Registration details by using their JEE Mains 2019 Roll Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, And Name. The registration process will provide the details like Login username and password.
Step 3– Login using the credentials provided by the email- Once login to the portal, candidates will be able to see the details they have filled during the registration process. In case, the details filled are wrong, candidates can get the opportunity of editing them as well. Moreover, details like locked choices, available choices etc can also be accessed from this portal.
Step 4– Fill the choices as per the preferences and lock them- In this step, candidates are supposed to lock the choices as per their preferences. It is advised that lock max number of choices as it will increase the chances of securing the admissions.
Step5- Generate a hard print of the locked choices- Keep an offline copy of the choices safe as it will be helpful for you in cross-checking the data in case of any discrepancy.
Step 6– Attend the Seat allotment procedures as per the round applied for- There will be a counselling round assigned specifically to you. It is advised that you should not miss the process.
Step 7– Go through the document verification process- There will be a document verification process after seat allotment round. Make sure that you attend the counselling process with all required documents.
Step 8– Report to the College within the time limit mentioned in the result– There will be a time limit of reporting the college. It is mandatory for you to report to the college within the time limit otherwise the candidature will be considered as canceled.

Seat Upgradation in JAC Delhi 2019 Counselling

If seats remain vacant, candidates will be automatically upgraded according the merit list of JEE Main 2019 and preferred choices entered
Candidates who get upgraded to in subsequent round will not be required to report to upgraded institute
Candidates who have been admitted until the completion of third round of counselling will be considered for upgradation
If candidates are happy with allotted seat and do not wish to be upgraded in subsequent rounds will have to request to JAC Delhi authorities to freeze their allotted seat on the day of allotment of seat or admission

JAC Delhi Counselling 2019 – Spot Round
Admission authorities will conduct spot round of counselling of JAC Delhi 2019 for candidates who could not participate in earlier round of counselling due to unavoidable circumstances or were not eligible can participate in spot round of counselling. JAC Delhi 2019 spot round counselling will commence from fourth week of July.
